<p>This is my Bible—there are many like it, but this one is mine. The Bible is God's word to mankind and especially to me. <sup><a href="#one">1</a></sup></p>
<p>God's word is truth; it lights my way—teaching and guiding me. <sup><a href="#two">2</a></sup></p>
<p>God's word is alive and active; it judges my thoughts and attitudes. <sup><a href="#three">3</a></sup></p>
<p>God's word builds me up and gives me an inheritance among his people. <sup><a href="#four">4</a></sup></p>
<p>God's word produces faith in my heart. By receiving it, understanding it, and putting it into practice, I become productive in his kingdom. <sup><a href="#five">5</a></sup></p>
<p>I receive God's word by reading it, hearing it, studying it, memorizing it, and meditating on it. I must handle it carefully in order to interpret it correctly. <sup><a href="#six">6</a></sup></p>
<p>By putting God's word into practice I create a solid foundation for my life. <sup><a href="#seven">7</a></sup></p>
<p>Without my cooperation, God's word in my life is useless. <sup><a href="#eight">8</a></sup></p>
<p>Without God's word I am useless. <sup><a href="#nine">9</a></sup></p>
<p>I must speak God's word boldly and purposefully. <sup><a href="#ten">10</a></sup></p>
<p>God's word lives in me richly; in my mouth it becomes the sword of the Holy Spirit. <sup><a href="#eleven">11</a></sup></p>
<p>With it I overcome the enemy who is trying to destroy me. <sup><a href="#twelve">12</a></sup></p>
